Why can't I reply on Blizzard forums? ›

Log out and back in again. Check if your browser is out of date. Clear the cache and cookies in your browser. Try a different browser.

Type in /resetchat in the chat window —this will restore your chat setting to default. If the issue persists reset your user interface to make sure your addons are not corrupted.

The average answer time is 1-2 days if they can assist you. So you should be on top of the queue after your latest reply to Blizzard. As long as your ticket is not marked as “resolved/closed” you remain in queue. The other statusses can be “Open/Assigned to Agent/On Hold” etc.

The term "soft reset" can also mean having all party/raid members leave the instance for at least 30 minutes. This causes any trash mobs that have been killed to respawn. The most common reason to do this (deliberately) is to farm trash mobs in raid instances, for reputation or rare drops.

If you are unable to see or select the character you'd like to choose for your avatar in the forums, try the following troubleshooting steps: Log out of the forums completely. Reset your Battle.net account password. Make sure you're logging in to the same region of the World of Warcraft account that has the characters.

Practice Regularly

No matter what happens, don't stop practicing. It is okay to take one or two days off, but if you are serious about becoming a pro player, you need to dedicate a few hours every day to WoW. Do this for a few months, and you will notice that your gameplay has improved a lot.

You can use the Ignore Player button in the Socials window to add a player character to your ignore list, or use the slash command /ignore <name>. Chat messages from ignored characters will not be displayed. This includes /say and /yell messages, as well as those in channels such as /trade, /guild and /party.

By default, yells also appear as a chat bubble over the player's head. This does not bypass ignore functionality. Opposite faction players will see the player speaking in encoded text, appearing as a different language. Players using free Starter Edition accounts cannot yell ingame.

Check your Battle.net account Privacy Settings, make sure voice chat is enabled there. Clear Battle.net app cache to clear temporary files and data. Make sure you have the correct Windows Settings. Reset the game settings to default.

Check your network configuration to find any issues with your firewall, router, or port settings. If you're using a VPN, try removing it. Disable any proxies that may interfere with the login module. Run a security scan to remove any viruses or malware infections.
