10 Cheap Places For Breakfast In Las Vegas (On and Off The Strip) - GoVegasGuide (2024)

Looking for a hearty breakfast in Las Vegas without breaking the bank? We’ve got you covered with our list of cheap places for breakfast in Vegas, both on and off the Strip.

Our definition of affordable means dishes that don’t exceed $20, and ideally, stay under $15.

While the list of budget-friendly spots on the Strip might be short, if you’re willing to venture off the Strip just a bit, you’ll find even more options that are not only cheaper but arguably even more delicious.

Since Papu and I are intermittent fasters, we tend to fuel our mornings with just a cup of coffee. From time to time though, we do like to enjoy a good old-fashioned breakfast! Our go-to spot these days has been BabyStacks (featured in this post) because we just can’t deny fluffy pancakes when we choose to eat breakfast.

We’ll keep updating this list as new breakfast gems pop up in Vegas, so stay tuned!

Affordable Places To Eat Breakfast: On The Strip

5 Dollar Cafe

If you’re searching for a no-frills, budget-friendly breakfast spot near The Strat, the 5 Dollar Café is your answer. This old-school style restaurant, tucked inside a small casino, offers classic breakfast dishes like eggs, bacon, and toast for just $5-6.

Expect good, homemade food served on disposable plates with plastic silverware in a laid-back atmosphere that feels like a throwback to old Las Vegas.

Plus, breakfast is served until 2 pm, so you can enjoy a leisurely start to your day without rushing to get there early.

Eggslu*t (The Cosmopolitan)

10 Cheap Places For Breakfast In Las Vegas (On and Off The Strip) - GoVegasGuide (1)

Eggslu*t (at The Cosmo) isn’t just a catchy name—it’s an egg-lover’s paradise. As its name suggests, there’s a cage-free egg in almost everything on Eggslu*t’s menu.

Indulge in their signature Fairfax sandwich (their most Instagrammed sando), packed with fluffy scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, and sriracha mayo wedged between two brioche buns.

For something way more luxurious, go for the Gaucho, featuring seared wagyu tri-tip steak, cage-free over medium egg, chimichurri sauce, red onions, and dressed arugula in a warm brioche bun!

Most menu items are priced at under $12.

If you’re on a budget and looking for a simple, no-frills breakfast right on the Strip, this is a convenient spot to fuel up without breaking the bank.

Grand Lux Cafe (The Venetian)

If simple breakfast foods are your thing, you’ll love what’s on offer atThe VenetianandPalazzo’sGrand Lux Cafe. In a nutshell, Grand Lux Cafe offers a great morning ambiance and an unbeatable breakfast buffet price for being on the Las Vegas Strip.

The buffet is for breakfast only, priced at $27.95 for adults. Their menuconsists of everything that you’d want from a typical breakfast, except it’s all-you-can-eat!

At the breakfast buffet, you’ll find all the typical options to start your day off right including made-to-order omelets filled with your favorite ingredients, alongside crispy hash browns and perfectly cooked waffles. The buffet also features classic breakfast staples like eggs, bacon, sausage, and ham, as well as an assortment of fresh fruit, yogurt, breads, bagels, and pastries.

The Buffet at Excalibur

10 Cheap Places For Breakfast In Las Vegas (On and Off The Strip) - GoVegasGuide (3)

Before you skip over this one from reading the word ‘Excalibur’, hear us out. While the rest of Excalibur is not much to write home about, the brunch buffet here is truly not bad! (It’s certainly better than the one at MGM Grand…)

The Buffet at Excaliburserves a weekday and weekend brunch at its six hot and cold stations covering American, Asian, Italian, and Latin dishes. You can enjoy made-to-order omelets, iced shellfish, smoked brisket, and even beef birria.

Round out your meal with the many options at the dessert station — we’re talking bread pudding, crepes, doughnuts, cakes, frozen custard, and more.

Weekday brunch runs from Monday through Thursday and costs $31.99 for adults (children 5-11 are $17.99). You can enjoy their Weekend Brunch every Saturday and Sunday for $37.99 (children 5-11 are $18.99).

This buffet is on the smaller side compared to other pricier buffets, but the price is hard to beat if you’re considering a breakfast/brunch buffet in Vegas.

Address: 3850 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, Nevada 89109

Affordable Places To Eat Breakfast: Off The Strip

Vesta Coffee Roasters

10 Cheap Places For Breakfast In Las Vegas (On and Off The Strip) - GoVegasGuide (4)

Vesta Coffee Roasters in the Arts District is a must-visit spot if you’re craving a REAL cup of coffee. It’s always packed for a reason—the coffee is top-notch and the breakfast items are just as amazing.

Papu’s worked for various third-wave coffee roasters before, so our coffee expectations are high as it is. Most coffee spots on the Strip suck, so we’re often going out of our way to get to the Arts District for coffee. Vesta is one of our favorites.

Toasts, tartines, and sandwiches are all priced under $15, and they pair so well with the amazing coffee served here. Be sure to try the Vesta breakfast sandwich, avocado toast, or breakfast tacos—each dish is packed with flavor, from fluffy scrambled eggs to savory toppings like avocado crema and Serrano chilis.

The space has a modern coffee roaster warehouse vibe, but seating can be limited due to its popularity. If you’re looking for a great excuse to venture off the Strip, this is it.

Aloha Specialties at The California

10 Cheap Places For Breakfast In Las Vegas (On and Off The Strip) - GoVegasGuide (5)

If you’re craving a taste of the islands without breaking the bank, Aloha Specialties in downtown Las Vegas is the perfect spot for you.

Nestled on the mezzanine level of The Cal, this affordable eatery offers a range of Hawaiian and rice dishes that won’t disappoint. While prices have seen a slight increase due to inflation, the majority of the menu remains reasonable, with most items priced under $20—making it a great value for the generous portions served.

For breakfast, you can’t go wrong with the Aloha Breakfast, featuring a hearty combination of spam, Portuguese sausage, Vienna sausage, and a generous helping of rice.

At lunchtime/dinnertime, the Aloha Bento is a must-try, along with the spicy Korean chicken served with creamy mac salad that perfectly complements the Vegas heat. You can also opt for teriyaki plates, loco moco, rice bowls, noodle dishes, stews and curry specialties.

If you’re a rice lover, this spot is a total paradise, but be warned—a meal here might just send you into a satisfying food coma.

Egg & I

10 Cheap Places For Breakfast In Las Vegas (On and Off The Strip) - GoVegasGuide (6)

Egg & I is a budget-friendly local favorite just minutes from the Strip. While they’re known for all things eggs, they also serve up an entire menu of other delicious items like pancakes, corned beef hash, loco moco, and biscuits and gravy.

The menu features American favorites like omelets, crepes, and benedicts, all paired with drinks from a new coffee menu or homemade bloody marys. Don’t miss the famous Cincy Chili served five ways or the incredibly good banana nut muffin.

Expect large portions at super reasonable prices (the majority of menu items range from $15-18). Because this is a rather popular spot, be prepared for a 10-25 minute wait on weekends during prime time bfast hours. The wait’s definitely worth it.

Address: 4533 W Sahara Ave Ste 5 Las Vegas, NV 89102

DEAL ALERT!

For a limited time, you can score an even better deal on your breakfast meal with their Groupon offer! And if it’s still available by the time you read this, don’t forget to check-in on Yelp for a free banana nut muffin.

BabyStacks Cafe

BabyStacks Cafe is our go-to breakfast spot whenever we’re craving pancakes in the morning—no one does pancakes as creatively as they do.

Beyond pancakes, their menu offers a delicious variety of fusion food, including Hawaiian, Mexican, and American dishes. Favorites include the ube pancakes, bananas foster pancakes, and adobo fried rice. You can even swap regular rice for garlic rice, which we think makes every dish a million times better!

With most breakfast specialties and full stacks of pancakes priced under $16, it’s a great value for Vegas.

Come hungry because the portions are big. You’ll wanna pay in cash if you want to save a couple of dollars on your meal.

Polaris Street Cafe

10 Cheap Places For Breakfast In Las Vegas (On and Off The Strip) - GoVegasGuide (7)

Polaris Street Cafe is a true hidden gem located just off the Las Vegas Strip. Established in 1993, this spot has a charming history, having transformed from a gas station into a beloved breakfast joint among those in the know.

Expect generous portions of delicious food, with fan favorites like huevos rancheros, chilaquiles, and biscuits and gravy. If you love chilaquiles like we do, this spot gives you the option of chilaquiles with green and red salsa (half and half). Unheard of!

The staff is incredibly friendly, and the coffee is constantly topped up without you even needing to ask. The small parking lot can be a bit tight, so carpool if you can.

Address: 3635 Polaris Ave Las Vegas, NV 89103

There are a ton of other breakfast restaurants in Vegas, but a lot of them have raised prices over the years, putting a majority of their menu items in the $18-20 range, which we don’t really consider ‘affordable’ or ‘cheap’.

And if the breakfast spots we listed here don’t cut it for you, there’s always Denny’s and their All-Day Diner Deals!
